Compatibility with SWF22

Greetings.
I am very interested in the Track IR system but after something that happened while trying out Freelook (I wanted to test the waters so to speak) I felt I needed to get another question asked before ordering.
I use a Thrustmaster F-22/TQS HOTAS (with RCS) upgraded with the digital chipset by Bob Church so I can use it all through the gameport on my Audigy 2 under Windows XP.
While trying out Freelook the software knocked the F-22 off-line. At first I thought it was something that Doom 3 had done to the Audigy drivers as the same problem occured when I tried to upgrade the Audigy drivers at one point. Other users have reported something similar to Bob in regards to their sound card drivers as well.
Is anyone here using the Track IR 3 or 3 Pro with a SWF22 set up? I want to be sure that the Track IR will not interfere with the gameport before placing an order.
It seems that the F-22 is very specific in it's game port requirements and in that this is still an outstanding stick I do not want to retire it until absolutely necessary.
Thanks,
Skeksis
