Resolution and precision

What is the resolution of the Track IR camera? I remember seeing a 256x256 resolution somewhere.

If it's just 256x256, is the mouse movement still more accurate than the camera resolution? I mean that if I have 1280x1024 resolution on my screen, will the cursor move in 1280/256 steps in X coordinates and 1024/256 in Y? Does a bigger dot help or is there any way to increase the precision?

We use a fairly advanced sub-pixel interpolation scheme that gets up pixel accuracy up to 1024x1024 in most situations.
