After upgrading to the new software I recognized that there is no respond anymore in Target Rabaul. Al other sims (PF, LockOn, CFS3, BoB) just work fine.
But I love Target Rabaul and I need to get it working. Any tips?

Any chance of running FS2004, too ?

I've got the same problem now with FS2004 running new v4 software, no respond no more, like it was working with v3-versions without any problems before.

What puzzles me here, is, that you seem to be from germany, too ... as displayed in the status-line.

Might sound a little crazy, what i come up here with, but could there be some major difference in certain internal registering, coding or parameter-handling .... or something like it with certain games running through different country-version of Windows , or the games themself ??
Just desperate, because i've tried such a lot of things already, turned the system upside-down, just running out of ideas ... .

I will give it a try with this Target Rabaul ...
First time i hear of it !!
Just have to download it and i will tell you, if it will work on my system here.

Hi galaxy. Iam sorry but I dont own FS2004. Target Rabaul was working fine with 3,12 Software. Und ja, ich komme aus Deutschland

(Well, i keep writing in english, don't want to be rude since this is an international forum, so everyone's allowed to read and understand the posts, might be even a rule in this forum)

OK .... i've downloaded the Targetware base program and the available mods.

Just noticed, too, that the mods are listed in the v4-game-list.
But starting up the Target Rabaul mod, it doesn't activate the title as a profile. Is it that, what you've meant , too ? No response even in the v4-list ?
Well, it's not working in-game here on my system either, but this differs a little from my problem with FS2004, since the v4-software does notice running FS2004 and activates the set profile, but, still doesn't work in-game.

Anyway, it's obvious that the programmed tracking-system, which seems to be more automaticly change between mouse-emulation and trackir-environment modes (there is no hot-key available anymore for the manual choice and switching - which i found quite helpful sometimes, to be able to activate/deactivate tracking and/or mouse-emu modes), works completly different. And this programmed interface seems to be causing some problems.

As far as i can see now, too, trying Targetware's simulator and mods, this one "IS" capable to support the coming vector expansion to some degree, because i can move my pilot-positon inside the cockpit as far as it would be possible in the real thing - move left and right, back and forward and up and down (of course, as high as the canope reaches above the head).

This would be the only sim besides the Microsoft simulators, to allow that realistic movement inside the VR-cockpit.

It's amazing, what this user-made sim has to offer !!

Hi galaxy. That is exactly my prob! But Ill keep on trying. TR is a great sim and you have to consider that its still beta!! Iam sorry that I couldnt help you with FS04 but maybe I buy it now with the new 6DOF feature.

Ok, I've fixed the Targetware problem on our side (well, a temporary workaround). We need to work with the developers to get some issues resolved.

The workaround for targetware titles will appear in the next release, due this week.

I will be speaking with the guys at Targetware about this on Monday. It is a very simple problem to solve.

Targetware are very interested in Vector and implementing 6DOF so I will have the clips out to them next week.

So hopefully we will see 6DOF in TR, that would make this sim nearly perfect. I preorder my Vector here in Europe and so I will have to wait till next week till I have it. I could hardly wait.

let me backtrack, I meant to say, 'does TR have 3d cockpits' like cfs3?
