I just received my TrackIR PRO3 today and the length is too short. Is it save to get an USB externsion cable? USB 1.0 or USB 2.0?

I used a USB 2.0 extension cable. It works just fine.

They have 3' extensions here at natural point that are really reasonably priced

I bought a few because Usually they are way more expensive so I have some back ups now
