"When you move right up close to me...

...thats when I get shakes all over me....
Shaking all over!"
Great song but I digress though it sort of illustrates my problem.
I have a small dead zone for when I fly IL2FB but when I got to full zoom and look ahead, for example to take a close look at the instruments, I get quite noticeable shaking. Looking left or right on full zoom does not appear to cause the problem so I'm assuming its something to do with the deadzone.
Any tips or advice are most welcome.
WB.

Hi WhiskeyBaravo, whilst I cannot test with IL2FB as PF is installed aswell, I had a look in PF for you. Are you using a default dead zone for pitch (up and down)?
If so there is a bit more of a snap getting out of the dead zone for pitch as aposed to yaw when zoomed in.
I would sugest trying to leave all the dead zones as they are except Yaw, go into the yaws curve and take the bottom point on the right and make it's value = 2 with symatry turned on. That should ease going out of the dead zone in Yaw. This would also have the benifit of easing your head movement out of the dead zone reducing the amount of jump of the view going through the dead zone.
If you would like I can send you my profile to give it a go.

Hi Barred,
Thanks for the reply. Heres the values for my yaw and pitch:-
Smoothing>20</Smoothing>
<MotionType>1</MotionType>
<Override>0</Override>
- <Axis Type="0" Enabled="1" Inverted="0" CurveType="5">
<CurveData p0="20" p1="15" p2="15" p3="15" p4="15" p5="11" p6="9" p7="5" p8="9" p9="11" p10="15" p11="15" p12="15" p13="15" p14="20" />
</Axis>
- <Axis Type="1" Enabled="1" Inverted="0" CurveType="5">
<CurveData p0="15" p1="10" p2="10" p3="10" p4="10" p5="6" p6="4" p7="3" p8="4" p9="6" p10="10" p11="10" p12="10" p13="10" p14="15" />
As you can see its not a proper deadzone as in using values of zero. I would prefer not to have a deadzone at all but the 3Pro+vector is just to twitchy for me when looking dead ahead.
I would be very interested in your profile. How do I get it?
Also and just to clarify I am also using the merged FBPF v 3.04.
Thanks again,
WB.

WB. just PM me your email and I will send my profile to you. I is more or less the default profile except I have modified the ease in and out of the dead zone.
Or you can drop me a mail at
barr3d@btinternet.com and I will mail it to you.
