Hardware setup for synchronizing multiple slim 3U camera

Do I need any external hardware( like optiHub or something else) for for synchronizing multiple slim 3U camera ?

Yes, there are external sync cables that will need to be connected to the cameras which daisy chain between your cameras. https://optitrack.com/accessories/cables-connectors/ at the very bottom
