I go into virtual cockpit and press F8 but it doesn't work.

Does anybody have any clues?

I would change your hotkeys to things that the game does not use. I use the \, Keypad +, keypad - keys and they work fine.

Did you run the installation for TIR again and make sure that MS2004 has a check mark next to it?

If you installed it right, when you go to run FS2004 it will give you a module error and ask you if you want to run the tir .dll file. Select YES.
