Strange problem?

Installed the new v4.0.023 the other day.
Now if I leave the reflectors in a spot that is not within sight of the unit,, the Trackir turns off.
The 4 red lights go off and also the blue. I then have to exit the sim and exit Trackir software then re start Trackir.
Then it will work great until the unit loses full sight of the reflectors ( for a few seconds its OK) but after about a minute. The Trackir turns off again.
Any idea whats going on???
Thanks.

spitfire9,
This sounds very strange. Was everything working prior to the 4.0.023 upgarde?
Check with the drivers that you had previously installed to see if the problem remains.

Yes, It was working good prior to the upgrade.
I'll check the drivers and maybe re install the whole thing and see what happens.
I used to be able to leave the computer for quite a while, return and the Trackir was still on and working good. Now it seems to shut off after only a few minutes.

I completely un installed the software and re installed and it still goes off every once in a while.
I exited out of Fs 2004 and started Il-2FB and when my head was turned it went off.
The green light on top and the blue enhanced mode light go of,, of course,, but every so often the 4 red leds will turn off. The tracking screen will just show blank.
I have to exit and restart the Trackir software to get it going again.
If it is a driver problem, how would I check that ?I thought if I re installed the software I would be re installing the driver as well??
I've also tried running minimized and min. to the startup tray.
I'm not running anything different in terms of controllers etc.

spitfire9,
Did this only happen after the driver upgrade to v4.0.023?
