Installing 4.0.024

When installing this new update, should I first pull the TrackIR USB connection then run the install?
Here is the safe way of reinstalling/updating TIR drivers/software.
Unplug the TIR
Use Add/Remove Software to uninstall the present driver
Goto the C:\Programs and delete the the folder
Reboot (to remove any drivers from memory)
Install latest driver
Plugin the TIR
That will save you a lod of potential problems.
