Hi,

I just recieved my Track IR 3 pro and vector expansion, installed the latest software and booted up a game of Pacific Fighters... Tracking was awesome only problem is that for some reason when I turn off the tracking with F9 (which is mapped to my primary hat switch) and try to use my mouse button it doesn't work. I deleted the latest software and installed the .021 and all is fine.
Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.

One other thing I've noticed is that I can look anywhere on my screen and not lose the tracking while in game except if I look down to see my gauges in which case my view will stick (sporadic) yet when I test out of game everything is ok.

Lazarus, are you by any chance hitting F8 at any time?

F8 switches presision mode on and of, so if it happens again try F8 (default), that should cure it.

As for the lock up there is a chance that your dot is getting to the edge of the scaners range, try moving it back a bit.

Naw I know how to use precision mode and that is not the problem.... also I am centered perfectly and the alien unit is at a perfect 36 inch distance.. any closer it tracks really sluggish and any further back barely tracks at all. All the lights are off in the room and no reflections anywhere, my Vector dots are the only thing showing when I test. No other reflective surfaces anywhere nearby.

The wierdest problem is now in my track IR software. I turn my head left it tracks right... up tracks down...zoom in is now zooming out... yet in game it works perfectly (left/right but zoom/height is still inverted fs2k4)., and I do not have any of the invert axis check boxes checked.

It's weird cause for the first 2 hrs everything was great.

Lazarus,

Open up your TrackIR softwareand after highlighting the profile that you are using click the edit button.

This will open another Window, check that you do not have any of the axis inverted.

Everything in game seems to be working fine for IL2/PF but in the track IR software my YAW , X , Y axis in the Gauges view are inverted but the Roll and Z axis are fine. I have verified with another Track IR user that I know and indeed his are tracking perfectly in the proper direction with the same software version.

I don't have invert axis checked anywhere.
