XP crashes when plugging TrackIR

Hi,
My Tir 3 Pro (with vector expansion) has been working great. Recently I had to do complete reinstall for my XP Pro. Problems started.
Installing the software itself is succesful. But when I plug the TIR in, it recognices it, asks confirmation about driver signing, creates restore point, and starts to copy files to /system32/drivers. The npusb.sys is the last file which can be seen copied there and BOOM -> Compurer reboots instantly.
I've tried this with 4.0.020 and 4.0.024, same thing. I've uninstalled the virusscanner and other TSR's. Windows firewall is off. No use.
Any ideas?

Oh, I also have SP2 installed for the first time. Could this be related to it?

I plugged it directly into PC without using USB-hub and the installation went through successfully.
Thanks for everybody who helped!

Hanu,
Thanks for the update I do apologize that your post got missed.
Some Hubs can not provide the power required which will can result in a Windows restart.
