Tracking problem

Hello,
my trackir device is a little bit located higher than the top of the hat.
The problem is when i want to look down then the ingame head becomes crazy and go to the left or right very quickly.
I tried to stand up and put my head at the same level of the camera and it's much better.
So is there a setting somewhere to fix this issue ? Because i prefer to be on my chair whem i'm playing games
