Device not detected

Hello all,
Hope you can help me. I have just purchased trackir3 pro, however I get "device not detected" showing all the time.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, however in the hardware management section of system it shows drivers not installed.
I get no blue light or standby light showing, infact nothing at all, ALSO Windows hardware detector shows unknown device.
Any ideas please.
