smartNAV ERROR

Have been running my TIR Pro3 for weeks now with latest drivers. Now every time I go to start TIR3 I get a error message telling me "smartNAV and TrackIR can run at same time, shut smartNAV off" But I have NEVER loaded or used any part of the smartNav software???
Is there a fix for this??

That error message was caused when you tried to run the TrackIR executable twice.
The problem was that when you first clicked on the TrackIR icon on the desktop, the program did not start up right away, so you clicked again. This tried to launch two instances of TrackIR.exe which produced the error message you referenced.
The issue of TrackIR.exe hanging was likely a corrupt profile in your TrackIR directory. Which would explain why when you deleted the entire directory and reinstalled everything was fine. Alternatively you could rename the TrackIR directory and that should accomplish the same thing.

Kevin,
As mentioned on the phone, was to able to fix the problem by deleting the "NaturalPoint" folder from my Program Files folder between reinstalls of drivers. Posting it here for anyone else who may have a common problem.
