Since I install the trackir and vector expantion, my mouse movement and feeling is so strange.
Any one know about this stituation?
Thanks.
Mouse movement is strange
Re: Mouse movement is strange
It is unlikely that the TrackIR software is having an impact on the mouse, but it could be USB hardware related.
If you have both your mouse and the TrackIR sharing a USB hub, that could cause some interference with your mouse. If this is the case, try moving the TrackIR off the hub.
If that does not help, one question is : does the mouse behaviour change when the TrackIR software + hardware is running compared to when it is not running?

Hi, Birch
I am not sharing usb hub.
Trackir goes to comp. directly and mouse is using mouse port on backside of com.
After install and plug in trackir, mouse movement has been change all the time.
The movement is very irregular like slow, fast, and click itself something like that.
It is not ease to explain the mouse movement though.
Thanks

I have the same problem. It's not the software, the problem stops when I unplug the unit (ed. the problem also stops if I shut down the TIR software and the base shuts off. Sometimes, though, the base unit won't shut off and I have to unplug it). I did reinstall the TIR software anyway. The problem seemed to start after I installed Mig Alley, but I don't think that's the issue.
Two years on the same system with TIR 2 and TIR 3 w/Vector on same USB port. This happened once before and really don't recall how I fixed it. It's not the USB port (all the same peripherals for 2 years), it's like the mouse is being polled by something and it pauses, sometimes barely noticable, other times the mouse is just dead, sometimes a click lags for several seconds. I uninstalled Mig Alley just in case, but no help.
Anyone with ideas?
