Check for Game Update

I just purchased Falcon 4.0 : Allied Force, and tried to check for game updates from the help tab in TrackIR. Got the following message:

"An error occurred while contacting the update server. The error was: The network is not present or not started."

Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?

Two first things to check :

1) Were you connected to the internet when you tried to update the game list?

2) Do you have a firewall on your computer that could be preventing the TrackIR software/application from accessing the NaturalPoint update webserver?
