This morning I got an error message when I tried to enable TIR: "SmartNav and TIR Cannot be used at the same time". There is no "SmartNav" program listed in my Add/Remove programs utility. What can have caused this? Please help; my TIR will not open.

Edit: Reboot solved it. But just so I know for future reference: What happened??

The TrackIR software had not closed successfully. So when you tried to run the TrackIR software again it saw it was already running, or the identifier had not been reset, and gave you the error that you noted.

In the future if this happens do a ctrl+alt+del and check the running processes you will see a TrackIR.exe, end that process. Then the start the TrackIR software and it will work.
