Hello,
after the installation of the Software, I turn on the tracking window to see how the cursor is moving. But when I move left, the cursor moves to the right
and I did not change anything in the default profile (just installed the software) and if I try to invert the movement, it does not work also. Software version 4.1.
And if I plug off my old mouse, the TrackIR does not work. What do I have to do to get the TrackIR working after plugging of my old mouse (I just need the old mouse to configure the TrackIR settings).
Thanks for the support.

This might cure it for you.
Open up the 'Tracking Window' and ou should see a 'Settings' button at the bottom.
Once you have clicked on that button, on the left in the middle you should see a section boxed out called 'Camera Rotation' click on 180. You will have to do it again if you change to a different profile.
That should sort your orientation out for you.
Enjoy your TIR.

Hi,
thnaks for the reply but it does not work.

If I use 180, the cursor still goes left when I move my head to the right.
And what do I have to do to get the original mouse on windos running when I turn off my touchpad? The cursor does not move when I try it....
Thank you for the help.

Sorry to hear that it did not work Gamer.
If I was you I would try this (a bit drastic but you never know )
Unplug you Camera
goto 'Add/Remove Programs' and uninstall 'NaturalPoint' I would sugest that if you have no custom profiles to not make a back up when asked.
Go to where you installed the software (C:/Programs/Naturalpoint is the default) and delete the NaturalPoint folder.
Turn your PC OFF for 30 seconds+ and then turn it on (Do not use the restart button as there is a chance that your RAM could still fold some of your old drivers in memory No RAM will hold onto it with no power for 30=seconds.)
Once you have rebooted Down load the 4.01.027 software from the Natural Point site (I would not use the 28 as some people are having trouble with it NP working on it which is why it is beta.)
Plug your camera into a DIFFERENT USB Port and not through a HUB (some motherboards might have 8 USB ports on the back but not all are true 8 port boards sometines the 4 that sit in a slot in the back of the case where a sound card ect might go are running of the same 4 ports as the top ones in piggy back mode.)
Hopefully a total re-install of the software and a different port really should do the trick. If not I would send a mail to Rick at Natural Point with your camera number real and forum name and a link to this thread so he knows what has been tried.
I take it that you are using a laptop when you mention turning off your touch pad, as to that I do not know I am afraid as I have never needed to use a laptop (well not to have to set one up as I mainly (99%) used a solo floor standing PC or a Server.)
