Laggy performance, a recent problem

My TIR3 Pro has, for the most part, worked like a charm until recently, when I have noticed a big problem.
For lack of a better word, I will call what it does is "lag."
What happens is that tracking is sluggish- it responds noticeably slowly to my hat movements (TIR baseball hat).
It does move in the direction that my head moves, but there is a delay.
In addition, it continues to move laterally well after my head has stopped moving.
This is a very noticeable problem affecting game play (IL2).
It is a new problem in that it never happened before. I have not changed anything, and have checked software configuration. I have the latest software version 4.1 27. There is no delay in my mouse or cursor movements, and I have restarted the computer and disconnected and reconnected the TIR to a USB port directly into the motherboard.
Has something gone bad in the sensor??? What else could be wrong?

I also have same problem with TrackIR3 Pro. I had tried to install various version of TrackIR software to solve this problem. Dot is well recognized and moving but motion of head slowly track my dot motion.

This isn't going to be too helpful, because i cannot remember exactly how i cured it when i had the problem.
I believe it may be something to do with a setting called "autopanning", or similar. I got that effect when ever that was switched on, but how to find it I'm not now too sure.
Someone official should come in with the answer, I should hope

There is any issue with IL:2 we are looking into. Some games this can cause as well due to the graphical settings of your video card.
I will post in the IL2 forum when there is a fix for that specific game.

Have you updated to the official build 28 of our software with the same results?

Rick.
I am involved with IL2/FB Testing. At present I am running a test IL2/FB SFS file that contains specfic TrackIr fix routines in it.
Can you contact me via Email ref this subject.
I need a little more information to test this correctly.
My setup is TRKIR3Pro Vector. In Standard FB I have noticed a small issue that may be related.
At the 3 and 9 oclock positions I get a little view wander of around +- 2 degrees or so at about 10hz, with my head motionless. So far adjusting Smoothing/Light filtering has no effect

I also am having problems with TracIr in IL-2,my problem is that whilst the tracking seems fine the game looses frames and becomes jerky after a while of play.I have been informed this is a tracIr issue and was wondering if there was a fix?

There is a known issue with IL-2 that they (Oleg/IL-2) should be fixing in an upcoming patch. Please see
