Hi,
Unfortunately I now have this rather prevalent �drivers not found� problem after a clean, unrelated install of Windows XP. As I have had a TrackIR (2 then 3 Pro.) since 11/11/02. I am well aware of the rather critical installation procedure and the necessary precautions, however I have tried all possible versions of deinstallation and new installation (4.1.028) as discussed in this forum and nothing helps. After plugging in the TrackIR I get the �found new hardware� message. This always leads to the next message that the necessary driver cannot be found. If I look in the directories of the hard disk then I find the drivers there in the TrackIR driver folder. There are the npusb-drivers in C:\Windows\system32\drivers and in C:\Windows\inf is the necessary *.inf - file. Nothing at all shows in device manager at this time. I have also run NPRegFix, which tells me all, is ok!
I am including two install logs from after the, �Reboot two times� instruction. At the time most other USB devices were unplugged.

Hello Gustav,
I am filling in for our head tech support person. You question is a bit over my head, so please bear with me while i take it straight to our head programmers.

Have you attempted the registry fix procedures some have posted in these forums?

Hi Warren,
Thanks for your post, I have run NPRegFix which said all was OK. Have not done any more in the registry, thought it better to have a considered tech opinion before blundering round.
In the meantime just had a post from Rick Odam Tech support requesting the setupapi.log.
