TrackIR alot smoother on NVIDIA than on ATI

I recently changed my videocard.

I had a Geforce3 Ti500 and my TrackIR was working perfectly! Smooth as a baby's behind.

Now that I bought and installed a Radeon 9800Pro, my TrackIR is still working, but alot less smoother than before...

Anybody else have seen this behaviour?
I think it's just a matter of ATI and Naturalpoint coming together and tuning their products to each other. I suspect this was already done with Nvidia.

Comments/Suggestions?

I don't see how exactly the video card is involved with TrackIR.

me neither, but it does affect it.

please don't suggest I am hallucinating or something similar.

I notice a BIG change in smoothness when I changed the videocard (everything else on my pc is 100% the same (hardware/software, including trackir naturalpoint software).

By less smooth, do you mean jerky movement or "lag" in the input? or something else?

That's exactly what I mean. Jerky movement.
With the Geforce3 Ti500 there was (almost) no jerky movement (except when CPU under alot of stress in heavy combat). but with Radeon9800Pro, the movement is very jerky under any circumstances.

Thank you

Thank youHave you tried the 3.7 catalyst drivers? Those drivers sorted most of my graphic glitches (and added some too hehe).

You can find them here: http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html
