anyone have a good profile setup for wwiiol

Post by SiMan »

Can someone please send me a good profile setup for wwiionline?

I just got my trackir and i tried a lot of the profiles and they seem so fast. i turn my head just a little bit and, "BAM!" the view whips around like a speeding bullet. I tried to slow down the mouse speed in the trackir program, but that didn't help much. it's still very sensitive and fast. I just need to try out other people's profile to see how they did theirs I watched a video with someone using it on wwiiol and it was perfect. the view wasn't constantly moving. well, i hope someone gets around to my post here.

SiMan,

If you drop me an e-mail at work I can send you the profile that I use.

Ensure that you are about an arms length away from your unit, the closer that you are the faster the speed on the screen.

WWIIOL-malkir.tir

Based on kaf's excellent profile but the sensitivity is turned down.

Works great with the trackhat @ 1.5' from the monitor.

You can download Kaf's profile here...

I'm still using Kaf's profile. It seems to work very well with my 21" monitor. I just look where I want to see and that part of the screen is centered. Very nice!

Have Fun!

whoa!
man, i need to get these profiles up on our WWIIOL page!
http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/03- ... nline.html

Daviee : basically, to install a profile you just place the .tir file in the same directory that the naturalpoint software was installed into.

(side note: there are actually quite a few new profiles to put up, but i'm trying to figure out the best way to differentiate between T2 and T3 profiles, as the resolution and speed changes tend to greatly affect the preferred speed and smoothing settings. hmm. also, i'm wondering about whipping up a read me file for each profile so people can easily see what is special/changed for each. hmmm. maybe create a webpage just for alllll the different games' profiles in our community section. HMMMM. )
(suggestions?)
