Audio Completely Distorted

Hello, I tried to find a topic about this and couldn't find anything so I'm making a new post.

I know there's a thousand warnings about not using Motive's audio for anything but reference, but take a listen to how my audio is recording and tell me if everyone's is like this?
https://youtu.be/slXiUwz-pwc

In playback it sometimes seems like it's fine but when I export its completely distorted. I'm on Motive 3.1 and the audio has always done this.
I've used 5 different audio inputs, including an AT2020 USB microphone which is specifically listed in the documentation as confirming to work. The above audio sample was taken with an AT2020.

Does anyone have any advice? Or should I reach out to support?

Hi, I'm experiencing a similar problem with 3.1, but previously I had no problem recording reference sounds with motive in 3.0, have you solved it? If solved, can you tell me what to do? I've consulted the supplier of the motion capture system but didn't get any help.

It comes off like 3.1 might have a settings or security problem. Have you try to reset the setting or reinstall it? Reverting to 3.0 may sometimes fix these kinds of problems.

Since you're using an AT2020 USB microphone, sometimes USB microphones don't handle direct integration with certain software as well as traditional XLR mics with audio interfaces. You can try testing the audio in different software like Audacity or OBS to see if the distortion appears there as well. This can help narrow down whether the issue lies with the microphone or with Motive specifically :D :D

Hi, I'm experiencing audio distortion problems with 3.1 that don't occur with OBS, and I've returned the software to 3.0 and it's fine. However, the skeletal resolution of 3.0 doesn't look as good as 3.1, so I still want to use 3.1. Is there any other software I can use to record audio with Motive? The USB microphones I use is Rode wireless GO II.
