Hi, I updated my version to 5.5.0.137 and now I've noticed when I press the button to center my view the movement is very slow to center when before the update it centered instantly. Is there a new option for this?

Hi Deltatristar500,
Is your TrackIR connected directly to a USB port on the computer, or is it connected through a USB hub or extender?
Kind Regards,

via USB directly on the PC via the extender split for the tracker and the headphone clip

Hello Deltatristar500,
I have reported this issue to our development team. In the meantime, you may wish to roll back to version 5.4.2 to see if the slow response persists.
Kind Regards,

Hello, I too noticed the centering issue, but to be more precise, when pressing the centering key, the app simply doesn't center to 0. Never. 5.4.2 stuck to 0 like a laser. And right after pressing the centering key, the camera still moves as if searching for the 0 point blindfolded, never finding it. And while using the same exact settings I did with 5.4.2, the other big change I notice with the new version is in the algorithm it uses to translate head movement into camera movement compared to 5.4.2. Either there's more lag, or the new head into camera movement translation lost some linearity for small and slow head movements.
When moving my head up to 2-3 degrees, the new algorythm simply doesn't pick it up. There's a noticeable "notch" when moving a bit more, as if it wakes up and starts reading movement. It's like setting up your steering wheel in sims to have less sensitivity at the center, but here 5.5.0 simply decreases sensitivity whenever you stop moving then slowly move again. I really don't understand the reasoning behind changing this, when the whole point of setting your camera in a linear fashion is supposed to do just that.

Hello jonelsorel,
I have passed your comments along to our development team so they can look into this further. In the meantime, have you verified that your computer is not turning off USB ports to save power? You can locate this feature in Device Manager for each of the USB Root Hubs. On each one, go to the Power Management tab and uncheck the option that states "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power." If you have already done this, please feel free to use 5.4.2 while we investigate further.
Kind Regards,

Same here, center is not really centering. USB Power management is off.
Thank you for reporting this to the dev team. I will go with prev version for now.

Hi Jillian, thanks. USB selective suspend is off, just as it was before. Every single windows/hardware setting is just like it was one day ago, before installing the latest version.
