Trackir 5 Camera/Hat Clip

So I've updated the software, used light to check the camera, and a couple other things. But I cannot get my camera to track my hat clip anymore, it's in the same condition as when I opened it. The camera reacts to light, and shows the hat clip only at point blank range. What do I do?

Hi Dakota,
Thanks for reaching out here. What version of TIR are you running? Was it working successfully in a previous version and you didn't have to hold the Trackclip so close to the camera to be detected?
Could you provide the camera settings you're using particularly the Light Filter Threshold (Default = 150), IR Brightness (Default = 10)?
