Hi All

I've just come across the instructions in the PDF manual for GTR that discuss using the TIR profile included on the game's second CD.

I'm using TrackIR v 4.0.022 and all the profile files that were installed by this version are XML files. My problem is that the GTR profile on the game CD is a .tir file (the actual filename is GTR.tir) and doesn't appear to be being picked up by the TIR software.

Is there any way I can convert this .tir file so I can use it with the current version of the TIR software?

Have a look on the simbin site you can find my latest profile there.

Im useing Barreds profile its pretty good, i altered it a slightly by dropping all the curves down a bit as i found it sensitive for me.

Thanks Hotdognz, I really posted it as a base for others to tweak to their liking.

One thing people could do if they find it a bit fast and would like a slight dead zone with out having the sharpness of the start of the movement from the dead zone, is to lower my curves so that you develope a flattened centre and then to move the curve back up a notch and then copy to all curves.

I have it a bit fast especially on the edges as I use a modified cfg for further movement to the sides as posted here http://forums.naturalpoint.com/cgi-bin/ ... 8;t=000016 by DB, pluss I do not have a great deal of head movement due to my neck.

So please feel free to adjust what ever you want.
