No Movement in FS9

Received my TrackIr 3 this morning, installed the included hardware and everything worked great. This afternoon I received my Vector Expansion and registered for my license.
I uninstalled the v3 drivers and installed the later v4 drivers. I have tracking in the TrackIr software, all light look good, but I have no movement in FS2004. Any ideas?

Also, I wish you would have made the cord just a little longer... by a foot or so. It just barely reaches my PC. If they make such a thing, would it hurt to add a USB extension cable to the TrackIR?

They do make USB extension cables. I am not sure how well it will work with one as I do not know the exact specs. You can always give it a shot.

Are you in the Virtual Cockpit? If your not sure, press S until you see it say Virtual Cockpit and then give it a shot. Also, when the game is on, does the TrackIR case glow blue?

Thanks Charlie.

Yes to all... as I said, I had it working perfectly with the v3 (pre-vector) software just this morning. I uninstalled V3 and installed V4, plugged in the TrackIr, and the new hardware installed the software just fine.

The software sees that I am in FS2004, selects the Flight profile. blue light on, LEDs on, green light on, in VC of the default C182... everything looks as normal as it can be but I have no panning at all in FS2004.

One more question... am I supposed to have a DLL in the Modules folder? I don't and reinstalling did not put one there either.

Maybe this thread has the answer. Seems possible. Have a look at the solution found by Grover.

Thank you Cas141. That was the problem... well sort of.

I had downloaded a new language.dll a while back that pared down the things you see as text on the screen. Luckily I had just renamed the original. Going back to it fixed the problem for me. I now have full vectoring and it is absolutely COOL!
Just wanted to let you and others know in case they replaced their language.dll also. My HideInfoText was set at 0 but the dll was the culprit.

Thanks again.
