Hey team,
I've been trying to troubleshoot this for two days thus far and not having any luck.
To summarize what is happening, I have a TrackIR I've been using for a few years now, it has worked without issue.
I recently purchased an M.2 SSD and installed Windows 11 - Everything was working without issue in MSFS2020 and 2024 and it was great.
Yesterday morning, I start up my PC and TrackIR is not recognizing any games, the left light is on but not the right. I have updated the games list, I have reinstalled the software and drivers numerous times. I even went so far as to reinstall Windows, and when that didn't work went to Windows 10 and when that didn't work used a different drive and installed Windows 10 on that and still no dice.. (Every time I've started it I've made sure I run it as admin, and tried some different compatibility options as well)
The confusing part is that when I have my son install TrackIR and try it, it works IMMEDIATELY without issue (He does have an M.2 drive as well), I just am confused as to how it stopped working for just my PC randomly.
Seeking some assistance with this, if any information is needed let me know

Re: Issues with games being recognised on my PC
Hi stranger2502,
It sounds like the TrackIR hardware is working and it is detected in the TrackIR software, but for some reason, the software is not communicating with the game itself. I would suggest first making sure you have updated the games list (especially since you have reinstalled the software). I would then suggest making sure that both the TrackIR software and the game are running with Administrative privileges. We sometimes see this issue when only one has administrative privileges, so the camera is not able to connect with the game.
Kind Regards,

Since it works on your son's PC, it's probably not a hardware issue with the TrackIR itself.
Given that you've reinstalled Windows multiple times, it's unlikely to be a driver conflict either. Have you checked if any other software might be interfering?
