Camera placement

I've been reading about the recommended distance & height of the camera. I found something to try various positions which is very helpful. I had a desk lap that I bought for under $10 from home depot. It has a articulating arm that makes it easy to try different distance/heights/angles. I reversed the light so the flat part was facing up & also reversed the bottom joint to get better travel. With this I was able to get the optimum placement for me. I also took a tip I saw here about bending back the hat reflectors a few degrees so the hat can be worn lower.

Hi Bobd;

Glad it worked.

Vector is one smooth, very neat piece of hardware (once you get it all aligned).

Just remember the basic steps...

When perfect alignment is achieved... Press F12 (Center); you should be able to look equally as well down as up and equally as well to the left and right.

If you can do that then you are in perfect alignment. Also, under perfect alignment there will be no sudden flipping upside down problems that some of us have experienced.

Cheers;
Doc
