F12 problem

Post by LegionnaireDan »

Hello all,

First time posting here and I have an issue with TrackIR 5 clip. I also own TrackIR 5 clip pro. I just cameback to DCS World two day's ago and I don't seem to be able to center view with the F12 key when in game. In the game options window I have deleted the F12 key, who is assign to a static object on the ground if I am not mistaking. In the TrackIR5 set-upI have made sure that F12 is assign to recenter my view and it is. When I hit the F12 key when on my TrackIR 5 the center view works, when I show up in game, the recenter view doesn't work even if F12 has been deleted in the game options. Also none of the numpad keys does not work. Ex: If I hit 5 to re center view with the numpad nothing happen.

Can you help pleasee?

Thank you.

Hi LegionnaireDan,

In the TrackIR software, what key is currently assigned to the Center Hotkey? By default, this is F12, but it can be reassigned to almost any other key on your keyboard. Make sure that the Enable checkbox is checked. Depending on your needs, you will also need to determine whether to check the Toggle checkbox and the Trap checkbox. Those settings are described on page 15 in the user manual (https://d1rhoi6onixddn.cloudfront.net/d ... _24.07.pdf).

Enable Checkbox
Turns the associated hotkeys on and off.

Toggle Checkbox
Toggled hotkeys are enabled by a single key press and disabled by a second key press. Non-toggled hotkeys require the key to be held down for the
hotkey to be enabled and released for the hotkey to be disabled.

Trap Checkbox
Trapped hotkeys will not be available to any other programs. Untrapped hotkeys will still perform the hotkey function within the TrackIR software, but can also be simultaneously used in other software that is running alongside TrackIR.

Note : Hotkey settings are stored on a per-profile basis.

Kind Regards,
