Hi Rafman,
I take it you are runing XP (this would work with W2K). You might need your system disk for this.
The STOP error is often caused by incompatable hardware or driver conflicts. So what I am going to do is talk you through removing your TIR and on how to remove and rebuild your USB Drivers for XP. You might need your system disk for this.
If you leave the TIR discinected and Right Click on "My Computer", goto Properties.
Now goto HardWare and then Device Manager.
Look for the USB down towards the bottom, and open it.
Now delete all of USB devices untill you can delet the USB it's self.
Reboot.
Now you should hear some beeps and "found New Hardware" dialogs (this is where you might need your systems disk).
When the "Found New Hardware" stops reboot.
If you hear more beeps and "Found New Hardware" dialogs stop reboot.
Once you can boot up with out the "found new Hardware" beeps, goto Start, Settings and Controle Panel.
Select Add/Remove Programs.
Look for TrackIR (it could be NaturalPoint) and select Delete.
Once the Delete is finished, look in your C:\Programs directory and see if there is a naturalPoint or TrackIR folder and delete it.
Download the latest driver from
www.NaturalPoint.com
Run the new Driver.
And plug in the TIR when asked for it (or when the driver has fully finished installing. When you plug the TIR in make sure it is on a different USB port to any Joystick, Wheel or HOTAS. Windows might not like the driver but select Continue.
Now Reboot again.
Your PC should now run with out getting the STOP Blue Screen. Come back and let me know if this has not helped.
Good Luck.
