I've just purchased a TrackIR5 after over a decade using a TrackIR4. My old TiR4 finally gave up the ghost and I am very familiar with the device and software. I know you have to run TiR as admin, and run it before starting the sim etc. I have the latest software installed, and I can run the software, configure the head tracking and see on the TiR 5 app that it tracks my head movements. But when I go into MSFS2020, nothing happens. I notice on the TiR camera that only one green light is on - not sure if that is the issue? But does anyone know if there's something I need to do to "enable" the headset to work in MSFS2020?

Any ideas and help much appreciated!

This is solved, and thanks to the TrackIR support team for helping me. The fact only one green light was on indicated the sim and the headset were not talking to each other. Either both TiR AND the sim need to be run as admin, or both need to be run NOT as admin. As I run MSFS through Steam I can't run it as admin. So if I run TiR not as admin, then open the sim via Steam, the two green lights came on and the headset worked perfectly. Sorted!
