In the 3.0 manual it said to NOT use a USB hub with your TrackIR. Apparently this wasn't the case with earlier versions as I've always used one. Currently I have/use a DLink 7 port USB 2.0 powered hub with V2.11 and excellent results.

I just want to know if installing V3.11 will eliminate my currently good performance with my USB hub.

No, this is just a suggestion, as some self powered hubs can have a problem if too many devices are plugged in. You should be fine.
