Any news of this feature?
Is it still on the todo list?
Is it a big todo list?

My trackIR is perfect with FS2004 ... except for that

Thanks by advance

I suppose there were a few lines of code in former programs
to disable TrackIR while using mouse !

Why dont they copy and paste them?

Or maybe it is simpler than that?

Please! Please! Please!

TrackIR would be perfect with just that!

Hello chaps...

I have this problem too that is making trackir 99.9% perfect...it really is the vest ever add-on i have ever had for FS9...and i have spent thousands on this hobby..

I want to be able to freeze trackir and use my mouse to turn dials/knobs and not have it zoom into the panels like it does in standard FS9 Virtual cockpits..if i could zoom in to my dials and then click a button and use my mouse to turn the dials and also if it was easier to use the virtual cockpit without having to saty 100%still in order to use the dials it would be great..

I understand what you are saying and its being looked at.

Is it that its too hard to hold your head still while clicking the knobs and switches? Because I can do it fine. Just trying to understand better is all.

Hi Rick

Yes with me i find it very hard to hold my head still whilst rotating the dials on the cockpit control panels...and like i said in the 2d view you can hover the mouse over a dial and use the mouse wheel to turn the dials/knobs...in trackir it actually zooms you in or out rather than turning the dials..

Regards Paul

If you have a mouse with extra buttons that can be programmed to send keystrokes, there's an easy way to do this.

Just program one of the mouse buttons to send the TIR4 "Pause" command, then when you look at the instrument you wanna change, press the button. TIR4 will "freeze" where you're looking, then just press it again when you're done and you're back to looking around.

IMO that's better than having TIR4 stop when you move the mouse, no chance of accidentally freezing the view.

Tried it on my Logi MX510, works perfect One thing, you DON'T want the NP software running when you program the mouse button, NP software will "intercept" the key and the mouse software won't even see it.

My mouse is a Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse with a third button where the wheel is. In other words a standard mouse. I find that with my mouse I don't get any zoom in or out when changing the setting on a dial. I am using the mouse wheel to change them. I'm assuming that this is happening when you are changing the settings with the mouse wheel.

With your mouse's software can you change the settings somewhere to prevent the zooming in and out?

I have never been able to start engines in Beech Baron 58 while using trackir!
(I had to use F9 just before and after, it is not comfortable)

Please add this feature.

Thanks by advance
