lock ups and reboots..

I have TrackIR 4. I have had no problems for the past 8 months or so that I have had it but yesterday I installed a new audio card (Soundblaster XFi) instead of using onboard sound.
After getting that installed I booted up and the system would get to windows and then lock up and reboot. I naturally assumed it was a driver conflict with the new card because I could get into Safe Mode with no issues. After moving things around in safe mode and disabling a bunch of different startup stuff I was still having the issue.
I took a look at the bootlog and it was stopping at the trackir usb driver (npusb.sys (or something like that)). The TrackIR was connected and I could see the light lit up. I uninstalled the trackir driver and software and everything booted fine. So I reinstalled the driver and software and had no problems. Did a few reboots with no problem also.
Then while playing Lock-On my machine locked up completely and I had to do a hard reset. While trying to get back into windows I had the same issue as before and the only way to fix it was to remove the driver and software again.
Anyone run into this? Is there a problem with my TrackIR? Could there be a USB issue? Maybe a power issue making USB power to drop out with the new sound card power consumption? I am not sure what wattage my power supply is (as I am at work atm).
Thanks for any help..
