Adjusting Sensitivity

Post by gpang788 »

Is there anyway to adjust the sensitivity of the head movements?

I look thru all the functions but couldnt find any cos its mentioned in the site FAQ that it can be adjusted - "...so the exact amount of motion needed is easily adjustable in the software. " Found under the heading in the FAQs page " Basic TrackIR Usage" - "How much do I turn my head? "

To optimize the performance of the TrackIR, users can customize profiles to best suit the needs of a particular game or group of games. Profiles are a powerful way to help you get the most out of your TrackIR as you become more familiar with it.

In order to edit a profile, select it from the list of profiles in the Profiles Tab of the main TrackIR software window, then click on the Edit button which will launch the Edit Profile window.

You can find more details on editing the game profiles, in the software manual.

You can download the latest manual by clicking on the following link.

When you have the profile that you want to use go and hit the edit button. In one of the popups you should see an 'Edit Yaw' (default) button give it a click.

On the right hand side you should see a 'shift entire curve'. Move this down using the arrows, then copy to all.

You could also try reducing the smoothing a small amount.

Good Luck
