Apparently, Microsoft has released a 'final demo' from their release code ( download here ).

I was wondering if anyone has tried it and if the TrackIR update works.

Nope, haven't done any testing with the latest Demo.

Alright.

If no one responds I'll download it when I get home and give 'er a whirl.

OK, after installing the demo. Running it, and looking at the installs. It seems that some 3rd party hardware add-ons are disconnect in this version of the demo, same as the last time.

So no TrackIR support in the newest Demo for FSX.

OK, so by this I am understanding that despite the best efforts made, the second FS-X Beta demo release is not working with Track IR 4 Pro even if one downloads and installs the patch intended to provide support?

If this is the correct understanding, then it explains why I'm not getting any function with FS-X beta two despite getting the green light on the device.

If not, then are there other tweaks in the game I am failing to notice?

The TrackIR has support for the Beta software, that was released on File Planet, and in the Microsoft Beta testing group.

It does not have support for the 2 Demo software versions that have been released.

But trackIR 4 is not working on it (
When can we see the final driver update?

It is just a new game profile?

We are currently working with the release copy of FSX, and should have working drivers shortly.

The drivers we currently have listed, will only work with the beta version of FSX.
