Not happy with 2.12b and 3.03

Well, I would be very happy with the 2.12b, in fact, as it's very smooth for me, but with this version I get a half second delay in response every few minutes in Forgotten Battles.
It must be software related, because I don't get this with version 3.03, but that version is not at all smooth, compared to the version for TrackIR1.
So, my question is, does anybody expierience the same pauses with 2.12b, and does anybody know a fix for that?
