GTR 2 - newbie question - TrackIR 4 doesn't work?

Hi,
I'm a GTR / GT legends fan, and GTR2 rocks so much I thought it was worthy of a TrackIR4.
It arrived today
It works fine (OK, brilliant!) on GTR and GT Legends but doesn't work at all on GTR2 (the blue light doesn't come on) am I being thick? Is there some game setting I can't find? It is supposed to be TrackIR enhanced according to this site
