Wondering if you could help.

I tried the alpha2's out for LockOn. Initially they were decent, then I changed my in game aspect views to a more widescreen monitor friendly setting. After I did this the tracking went "wandering" all the time.

So I need to uninstall and revert back to .28's

Here's the problem...

I unplug my TiR3 (# 27519)... I go to add/remove and i get an error message saying "Setup failed to launch installation engine: class not registered"... what do you think?

P.S. I think also I was having the error where the LED was lit even when the TiR program wasnt running.. but i didnt investigate because I was attempting to revert back

Solution Found: I just installed the .28's "over" the alpha2's.

I suppose we could instead talk about the extreme "wandering" (on all axis) I experienced. It occured before the following modification but after I changed the camera view angles from 120deg to 145deg it was more frequent and pronounced.

Here's the path to said modifcation

No, the 29 build of the software is not just about FSX, but it has been at the top of people's list.

True view allows for a more natural head movement and use in a 6DOF enviroment.

For example - with True View if you looked out the window then down towards the ground and zoomed towards it, it causes your look to zoom towards the ground. Before there were issie with the Tracking math that would cause the TrackIR unit to cause your view to shift foward towards the front of the aircraft.
