When I am panning with TrackIR4 the cockpit seems to be flickering or out of focus.Once I stop everything sharpens up.This does not happen when I pan with hat switch.It is a strain on my eyes.Is this normal?I have only been using Trackir for a couple of days and still getting familiar ith it.Thank you,Ron

That is what I was asking, as to which application was the issue happening in.

What other applications are you running in the background? Antivirus? Firewall?

What kind of system are you running?

Ram Size?

Video Card?

SBC Anti virus,P4 2.4gb,1.5gig ram,Geforce6600 256mb video.As I said panning with hat switch is clear and sharp.As soon as I stop my head movement with trackir the screen turns sharp.Thanks for the response.Ron

Just as a follow up.I just used it on a flight and it is definitely flickering on the panel.Whenever I scan the panel everything flickers till I stop my head movement.Then flickering stops.Outside views do not flicker.Ron

One thing to check. On the video card settings check to make sure that Vertical Sync is enabled.

OK,I did that.No change.I have been trying different planes and not as much flickering with FSX planes.Except the Garmin GPS.The one giving me the most flickering is the Rockwell Aero 500 from FS9.But I still get flickering with all others.If I hit F8 and turn off TrackIr and use VC everything is sharp.Thanks for all the support.Ron

Very strange, I have never come across this issue with FSX.

I am having my video drivers updated today.I have run all my different planes and so far the only one that are really objectionable are ther Aero(FS Copy to FSX)and the Baron with the Garmin 1000 panel.I will keep experimenting.Ron
