Does anyone have experience using SmartNav with Photoshop? If so, do you have any suggestions how to best work with a graphical program like Photoshop?

I appreciate any suggestions.

I have used photo shop and a number of other photo processing programs with the SmartNAV 3.

It works very well. For high accuracy I think naturalpoint recommend you use a large reflective dot rather than a small one (is that right Kevin?).

Personally I don't use gravity, I found that it slowed me down. I use the dwellclicker. My other major settings are as follows...

Speed = 5 (horizontal and vertical are linked)
Motion = 111 (even though I have good control over my head movement I seem to need a lot of smoothing for fine placement of the mouse pointer)
Cursor Positioning = relative
Preferred Object Size = close to "current dot" size (again I'm not sure that this is directly affecting accuracy it just seems that it might, is that right Kevin?)

Of course I realise the above settings are highly personal, I found that for fine work I needed to be more conservative with my settings. Have fun in Photoshop.

1 - Using a larger dot allows the unit to more easily track your movements.

2 - Setting the object size to your dot size allows the software to more easily see the reflector, and not be "distracted" by other heat signatures.
