Software cannot be connected with the device

First thing, excuses for my bad English.
I have installed the new drivers (Version 3.10) for my Track Ir 1 following the instructions of the manual. Initially the installation goes well, until it asks me if I want to erase the rest of previous installations. I accept and it gives an error message: some files cannot be found. I look for them manually and they are not in my system. Finalized the installation I reboot and when I attempt to use my unit it shows a message that that says �software cannot be connected with the unit� . I have verified that in Device Manager/ USB controllers / Naturalpoint Track Ir, is noticeable an error: �Truncated or incomplete registry variables�.
I would thank for a little aid, because I cannot live (or fly at least) without my unit.

I�ve verified everything and what the installation tried to delete were registry keys, not files (I�m such an idiot ). I have found them and erased, reinstalled, and everything goes well now.

Hallo all!
i heve a some probs with TrIR 1.
After 2.11 uninstall, can�t correct install the new Version 3.10!
I have 2 undeletable Keys in Windows 2000 SP3 Registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB\Vid_0547c&Pid_1002, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB\Vid_0547c&Pid_0008.
I can NOT delete it! And the Version 2.11 or 2.12 can NOT be sucsessful installed again!
Do you have some idea?

Same problem as Dimi3 - install routine cannot delete it and it doesn't work manually either...
Ran a registry checker (registry mechanic) found some errors and corrected them - still no go...
---
Now I cannot run any version of TrackIR... great! Please post hints & tips in the forum - as Soron said - it's great that you solved Dimis problem Wayne but other users might also profit from your knowledge!

So, in fact a friend of mine was in this trouble, he as removed some registry key, and it's ok now
but need to be done in administrator acount.
don't known which registry keys.

Hello all!
I have administrative rights, but I can�t delete the Keys!
I have already solved the problem:
I have uninstalled Naturalpoint Loader under Systemsteuerung/System/Ger�temanager/USB (not the software!). Then reboot. Afterwards TrackIR connecting and look for best treiber. He also appears who calls he better ones. On click and finish. Then I have back again my TrackIR.
The only what I do not have: software (3.10) does not start with Windows!
