TrackIR hanged when I launched some programs.

Hi all,

Im using TrackIR 3 NP with Vector expansion.
It was working fine all the while.

Recently when i launched Trackir. I can see it powered up with the red leds.

Then if i launch programs like windows media player or Teamspeak client, the trackir power goes out, and the pc hangs for like 15 seconds and my pc will resume normal and so will trackir too.

I don't have any problems with other USB devices like bluetooth, usb wireless, x-52 joystick or saitek pro-pedals.

Initially i thought it was related to my usb HUB as i checked the device manager. it was consuming more power then other usb devices. but unplugging the devices and reinstalling trackir does no good.

I have tried unplugging all the other usb devices and tested still no go..

I also switch trackir usb to all 8 ports on my pc and still no joy. (2 top, 4 back, 2 pci) not even my mouse is connected during that time.

I tried changing IRQL in my bios and it doesn't help, i enable usb emulation and same thing.

I did a reformat yesterday and the same problem occurs.

I wonder isit a problem with 4.9 Alpha drivers but i need it to play Flight simulator X so i didn't roll back.

I have no heat issues as Temp reads as CPU =41, MB =38, PSU=40. Prime 95 runs smoothly for 1 day with no restart.

And my casing have 90mm front intake, 1 90mm side intake, 1 120mm Exhaust.

Please, help me on this.

EDIT: Hi i juz tested 4.8 final version and that hang problem disappeared. Its a problem with 4.9Alpha drivers.

Guess i can't fly FS-x till u guys release the final version as it keeps turning trackir on/off and im worried it'll kill the hardware sooner or later.
