Track IR 4 no go with FSX-HELP!

Hi,

Just got my Track IR Pro4 yesterday. Works great in FS2004, but in FSX it doesn't work at all. I read the messages and tried deleting the folder with simconnect.dll, repaired install of FSX from DVD, even turned off my WInXP firewall, yet still no blue light. Afterwords I also deleted simconnect.cfg. Nothing. The device is not loading the profile, but it is working outside of the sim.
Any ideas? I bought it mainly for FSX since the virtual cockpits are improved, now despair...

Try downloading the latest version of the software. Be sure you totally un-install the version you have now. Then try it again. It works great on my FSX !

Yep...you'll need the latest beta4 to run TIR in FSX.

OK, got it, well thanks for the help guys. Everything works great now. For some reason I thought that beta is, well, beta...

Beta is beta software, but it is the only version currently with FSX support.
