I've been using TrackIR 2 with 3.13 driver without any problem. Today, my anti-virus s/w (V3Pro 2004 Korean Edition) reported the file "KeyBdHook.dll" in the TrackIR folder as a Trojan/Keylogger virus and actually deleted it! I had to re-install 3.13 driver because TrackIR did not work without the dll file. I just wonder that this file is an actual virus file or not.

The keyboard dll is not a virus/spyware, however it does employ a keyboard hook which captures and filters keyboard input in order to provide hotkey mapping functionality in the TrackIR software. Because the TrackIR software employs a technique which some spyware may also use to monitor keyboard input, it is possible that the anti-virus/spyware software mistook the hotkey functionality of the TrackIR software as spyware.

We would recommend re-installing and if the anti-virus software asks whether it should be deleted again, tell the software that it is safe and you would like to not have it remove the file.
