Hi guys, I'm trying to use TrackIR 4 with Active Camera 2004, but I have a conflict with the Roll mode. I've disabled the Head Latency in AC2004, and I tried it with both 4.1.028 and 4.1.029 beta 4 software, but there is a conflict with the Roll mode, and the screen just starts shaking.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks!

Hmm, never come across that issue before...
Have you tried a clean install of the TrackIR software?
1 - Remove the TrackIR software by doing the following:
a. Click "Start"
b. Click on the "Control Panel"
c. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
d. Find "TrackIR" and click "Change/Remove"
e. Once launched it will give the option to completely remove it.
f. Delete the NaturalPoint folder at the following location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint
g. Download and reinstall the software from the following location,

I had same problem.
Please try to uncheck "internal pilot view" option of active camera.
It works fine for me.

Is there a way to use trackir with active camera 2004 in internal view? I understand it works with internal view disabled but I like some of the features in internal view, such as ground turbulence when landing and the special sounds. Ive disabled head latency but I still get the shakes.Any suggestions?
thanks, Paul

If the internal view, is also effecting the head latency, then there really isn't a way for it to be remedied, as both the TrackIR and Active camera would be trying to do the same thing, at the same time, which causes the software conflict.

Paul and Vlad,
The standard "work around" is to disable the roll axis in the TrackIR setup. (In this mode you can use both TrackIR for most movement and also Active Camera to shift your views to specific spots. A compromise, but one worth considering.)

Unfortunately this work around doesn't work on my system I still get display jerkiness during banking even with roll axis disabled if I have active camera internal views enabled (& head latency disabled) - is there something else I have missed here?
I have struggled with TrackIR4 since I first installed it some 18 months ago and it is the most expensive FS addon I have, but I have yet to find a "Holy Grail" setting that gives the immersion factor others speak of.
