Can't get Trackir to work on FSX or FS 2004

Hey
I've just installed TRACKIR 4:PRO but I've unable to get it to work (on FSX and FS 2004).
I�ve downloaded the latest updates (and reinstalled the software). The Software seams to work with no problems with the tracking visible in the three settings but nothing happens when I start FSX or FS 2004. There is an option to �Activate Vector�, is this necessary and if so where do I find the Serial and Hash numbers?

We have released a beta version of our software to support the final version of FSX. You will need to download the latest version of the software.

Run the downloaded installer file. If you haven�t uninstalled the previous version, it will run through an uninstall application first.
If you had to run the uninstaller, rerun the downloaded file to install the latest version.
Start the TrackIR software. You can run the software minimized by adjusting the TrackIR settings under the Options menu.
Start FSX.
Enjoy the new features of FSX, with TrackIR support.

Same problem, just FSX though. The lights are on, but nobody's home. Works fine in all my other sims. Have the latest .029 installed, also tried the dll fix, shows the new file date, still no go. Mcafee firewall set to full allow for FSX and TrackIR, have no tracking of any localhost refusals. The repair for the dll basically re-loaded the whole game again... both disc's. Added TrackIR after FSX was already on, and the fix just reloaded FSX after TrackIR.... so I'm lost here. Thanks... Dave

I have a similar problem as yours Dave, I have it working great in FS9. In FSX it does work some but it takes a minimum of 20 seconds to change views after moving your head.

Same here. Cannot get it to work with FSX. Was fine with FS9.1. I already upgraded to the lastest software and confirmed that the device is tracking, etc. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Are you guys getting the blue light enabling on the TrackIR, when FSX has a flight going?

Check to make sure that you aren't in the precision mode. The default key function for that is F7, but you might need to change that to another key function for use with FSX.

Still no luck. Tried toggling using F8 (confirmed that this is the key for Precision in FSX). I am using a Dell XPS 600 with an NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB video card. I have the blue light, and the yellow light comes on when tracking the reflectors. (I can also see that I am tracking from the gauges.) Any other ideas?
