It may not be possible to install the SmartNAV software with this software. The SmartNAV software wasn't designed to be installed in this fashion, and we currently aren't doing any development with this version of the software.

It looks very intriguing, but the older software is compatible with the newer hardware, so we haven't done any work on the 2.20 version of the software since May of 2003

[color:"red"] Vista - We do have Vista support on our internal road map, for the TrackIR3/4 and the SmartNAV 3, done deal. We are always working hard on great new stuff for the community, we appreciate that you recognize this, customer service is #1 at NatualPoint. Vista is not a trivial thing to develop and test, as our product works at the driver level. We want to make sure we get it right, as you would expect, this takes time. So, please hold tight, we are aware that you need this support and we will make it happen. As far as a time frame goes, we can't be specific, (as you all know, software commitments are a dangerous thing!), it will come as soon as we can make it happen.

[color:"red"] MojoPa - Since the portable drive "borrows" the CPU, video drivers, internet connection, keyboard and mouse from the host PC, and is using an emulation application to get it to work on a different system. It probably won't work very well, if at all. This is due to the fact that the SmartNAV is also using the built in mouse driver, and so you would be trying to use an emulator application with an emulator application. Computer systems just can't handle that.
