Hi!
On the page for the vector expansion support is the following link broken:

I just have purchased a smartnav 3 basic and a vector expansion (VE).
Is a baseball cap with the VE not equal a tracking hat like mentioned in the smartnav software? I am asking because only one of the reflectiors of the VE is drawn in green which makes me believe that only that one position is used for tracking. (I was trying if using the VE maybe decreases jitter and/or drift of the mouse pointer).

just found out that the track hat is something extra.

No issues.

1 - I have fowarded on to the web team about the broken link.

2 - The SmartNAV software will only tracks one reflector for mouse movement. The vector expansion is for use within the TrackIR software, and 6 DOF within gaming applications.
